Course Outcome

After completion of the course, the reader should be introduced and educated on workmanship. Detailed discussions on specific workmanship items such as Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) are covered by other AAQ courses.

Why Learn about Workmanship?

Research indicates that two-thirds of CubeSat and SmallSat mission failures are failures in functional integration. These results show that there is room for improvement in terms of Workmanship and Quality Control areas applied to CubeSat spacecraft development.  Workmanship is part of every space payload project.
