Fiber Optic Terminations, Cable Assemblies, and Installation ( Baseline with change 2 of 3/29/2011)

This standard sets forth fiber optic termination and cabling requirements for reliable fiber optic installations, both single- and multi-mode fiber. This standard is applicable to NASA programs involving fiber optic splices, fiber optic cable assemblies, and fiber optic assemblies for flight hardware, mission critical ground support equipment, and elements thereof and wherever invoked contractually.
